1983
Griffin Industries was founded by Thomas Krouth as a prototype pattern shop.
1987
Our specialties expanded to include production foundry tooling.
1988
We added our first CMM and began our ISO 9001 compliance.
1992
Griffin moved to its current location in Suamico, Wisconsin.
1994
Expanded our capabilities to include machining and prototype castings.
1998
We added horizontal machining capabilities.
2002
Griffin began our journey in additive manufacturing (3D printing).
2003
We became ISO certified and doubled the size of our facility.
2004
Ownership expanded to the second generation.
2010
We purchased our first 5-axis horizontal machining center.
2013
We added Magma solidification and increased foundry tooling storage space.
2017
Griffin added a 114KW solar array to reduce carbon footprint.
2019
Expanded offering to include low volume production machining.
