CNC Machining

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time
Schedule: First or Second Shift
Willing to work around your school schedule for this position

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Upon hire:

  • Deburr, wash, touch-up paint, inspect and package parts
  • Shadow and learn from our experienced machinists
  • Cleaning and other duties as assigned

Learn to:

  • Operate vertical and /or horizontal machining equipment
  • Make tool changes, offsets and resolve basic problems
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts using buffers, belt sanders and rotary tools
  • Calculate and record dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers
  • Communicate with quality, engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude and desire to learn
  • Able to work independently at times
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills
