Quality Technician
Griffin Industries is seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our team. As a Technician in this department, your primary responsibility is to ensure our products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements by utilizing top of the line Ziess CMMs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and commitment to quality are highly valued.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
First shift
Demonstrate strong computer skills.
Experience with Calypso software preferred.
Experience with operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for dimensional inspections
Conduct quality inspections on products to identify defects or deviations from specifications
Experience with Adobe Illustrator a plus.
Exceptional blueprint reading skills with interpretation of Geometrical Dimensions and Tolerances.
Able to do in process checks by with measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers and thread gauges.
Familiar with ISO 9001 quality processes and procedures.
Be self-motivated and work independently and as a team member.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Work flexible hours/shifts, including overtime.
Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and methodologies
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
Experience with Precision Measuring Instruments
Familiarity with Quality Systems and Standards
Ability to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Understanding of regulations related to product quality and safety
