Lead Second Shift CNC Machinist


We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd shift Setup Machinist to join our valued team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in our product development process, working with cutting-edge CNC machinery to bring designs to life. While we can’t divulge specific project details, rest assured that our portfolio includes collaborations on game-changing products like outboard engines, electric cars, military equipment, and motorcycles.

Job Type:Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (10 hour shifts)

No Mandatory Overtime

Set up and operate vertical and /or horizontal machining equipment.

Make tool changes, offsets and resolve problems as they arise.

Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts using buffers, belt sanders and rotary tools.

Calculate and record dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.

Communicate with quality, engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.

Assist others with troubleshooting, questions, etc.

Strong knowledge of vertical and/or horizontal machining of castings.

Familiar with Fanuc controls preferred.

Familiar with Siemens controls a plus.

Stable work history.

Able to work independently.

Forklift operation/certification experience preferred.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to stand for long periods of time

Good verbal communication skills.
