Pattern Shop Associate
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 1st shift Pattern Shop Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in our product development process, working with cutting-edge machinery to bring designs to life. While we can’t divulge specific project details, our portfolio includes collaborations on products like outboard engines, electric cars, military equipment, motorcycles, etc.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
No Mandatory Overtime
Set-up, adjust and operate a wide variety of manual machine shop equipment
Rig core boxes
Make jigs and fixtures
Perform grinding on castings
Perform leak testing on castings
Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Prior experience in a machine shop environment required
Prior experience in rigging core boxes a plus
Able to read, understand and interpret blueprints
Able to use measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
Able to work in English and Metric
Able to read/write English and shop math equivalent to high school or GED diploma
Able to take constructive criticism and learn from mistakes
Lifting up to 100lbs occasionally
Able to stand, walk, pull and bend to the floor
Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and lifting required
Ability to move arms, hands and fingers with full range of motion
Working in a shop environment exposed to dust and occasional high noise levels
