Manufacturing Project Manager

Griffin Industries is currently seeking a team-focused, driven, results oriented PROJECT MANAGER who has the desire to contribute to our continued success. We pride ourselves on our expertise in managing customer projects from start to finish. From foundry selection, foundry tool design and build, casting inspection, to fully machined castings the Project Manager position will manage every detail along the way.

The successful candidate will be able to simultaneously manage all aspects of multiple projects to ensure their successful completion within the customer’s deadline. This includes working with multiple outside vendors as well as our internal Griffin Team. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact with the customer.

Job Type:Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work with customer to understand the scope of the project, communicate updates, resolve issues, and build the customer relationship.

Manage multiple projects anticipating and resolving issues by communicating and working with the customer, vendors, and the Griffin Team.

Provide input and potential problem solutions to project team members.

Document, communicate, and execute changes in the scope of the project.

Travel as needed.

Actively participate in daily production meetings, job kick-off meetings, weekly WIP review meetings and other meetings and required.

Develop new business opportunities through building strong customer relationships by excellent project communication and execution.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Able to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.

Able to work with and motivate a variety of people and personalities.

Able to work within a team to manage resources and meet customer requirements.

Good computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Able to read and interpret blueprints.

Have a basic knowledge of GD&T

Knowledge of foundry tooling, Magma, CNC machining a plus.

One year of foundry tooling and machining experience
