Apprentice
Griffin Industries is looking to hire a student or individual with little or no experience in manufacturing. With exposure to our expertise, we are hoping to inspire the next generation and pave an accessible career path for those interested in our field. Our ideal candidate will present strong work ethic, be willing to learn and align with our company values. As a manufacturing apprentice, opportunities for advancement are readily available as you gain new skills and can manage greater responsibility.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time
Schedule: First or Second Shift
We are open 7 days a week and can offer flexibility to work around your schedule as a student.
Deburr, wash, touch-up paint, inspect and package parts
Shadow and learn from our experienced craftsmen
Cleaning, maintenance and other duties as assigned
Add assist with documentation of manufacturing processes
Display strong interpersonal communication skills
Work well in a fast paced environment
Attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude
Curiosity, desire to learn
Self motivated
Strong communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
