Minimizing Emission With Solar Panels: Eco-Friendly Mission

In 2014, Griffin Industries invested in a 114KW solar array to reduce our energy consumption. Since the installation, we have generated nearly 800,000 kWh, allowing us to avoid more than 460 tons of CO2 emissions. By minimizing emissions with solar panels, we hope to capitalize on this growth by continuing our search for new ways to combat the environmental impact of our organization.

To put this into perspective, the energy we have produced is equivalent to

• 142,091,655 smartphones charged
• 67,820 gallons of gasoline offset
• 32,003 electric cars charged

It is so important for companies both big and small to consider the global impact of their emissions. By minimizing emissions with solar panels, we hope our progress inspires other companies to make it within their organization for the sake of future generations.
